Hudson Bay Mountain has no detail snow data, but we accept the published average of 200 inches snowfall, as it is leeward of the major mountain ranges of northern British Columbia. Snow density this far north and inland is as light as it gets. Powder lasts a long time at this remote area with expansive terrain.

Accumulation and Preservation

Hudson Bay's snowfall is likely to get most terrain open by Christmas. Snow should preserve very well all winter this far north. About half the terrain faces south, so melt/freeze conditions are likely there by mid-March.
